Infertility Package
JPK infertility packages include a list of well planned diagnostic and therapeutic packages. They are designed for couples who have been trying to conceive and need a structured evaluation of possible hormonal and reproductive causes.
At Dr JP Kotla’s Medical Centre, our endocrinology and infertility team works with you to identify the underlying factors and plan the right treatment approach, without unnecessary delay.
Diagnostic evaluation
Infertility is when a couple is unable to conceive despite regular sexual intercourse without use of contraceptives for at least a year. A well planned diagnostic package looks at both partners and the common endocrine causes that can affect fertility.
Women should consider evaluation if they are 35 or above and have been trying to conceive for over 6 months, have delayed, irregular or painful periods, endometriosis, previous miscarriages, or a history of cancer treatment. Men should consider evaluation for sperm-related problems, testicular or prostate issues, or a family history of infertility.
Hormonal and biochemical assessment
Many fertility problems are linked to ovulation disorders, thyroid imbalance, PCOS and other hormonal conditions. The package includes targeted biochemical and hormonal tests so these causes are not missed.
Common female factors include ovulation disorders, uterine or cervical abnormalities, fallopian tube damage, endometriosis and pelvic adhesions. Common male factors include abnormal sperm production, problems with delivery of sperm, and damage from illness or treatment.
Therapeutic planning
Treatment depends on the cause of infertility, how long you have been trying to conceive, age of both partners, and your individual preferences. Most couples can achieve a healthy pregnancy with the right medical support, though all infertility treatments involve physical, psychological, time and financial commitment.
Our team of gynaecologists and infertility specialists partner with you to choose a treatment plan that is suitable for you. To learn more about symptoms and when to see a specialist, you can also visit our Infertility page.
